Developing Applications

Redwood Server ships with a number of interfaces that allow you to develop your own applications or integrate Redwood Server with your existing applications.

Redwood Server supports the following built-in scripting languages:

  • RedwoodScript - Java-based language
  • RedwoodExpressionLanguage - simplified language used in different scripting contexts
  • PL/SQL API - version 6 and 7 compatibility layer

Redwood Server also supports various other languages via definition types such as Perl, Python, Visual Basic Script, and Microsoft PowerShell, among many others.
