This section tells you how to download and extract the central Redwood Server software bundle on Windows and UNIX.

Process Flow

  1. Download the redwood-platform-2023_3_0_<n>.zip.
  2. Extract the ZIP file to an install directory.
  3. Download and install SAP JCo (optional, for SAP connectivity).

Prerequisites

  • Installed and configured Java Development Kit (JDK), which should ideally be the latest version shipped by the platform vendor (it must be supported).

Procedure

Downloading redwood-platform.zip

  1. Download the installation file. The file is available in the Support portal: www.redwood.com/support -> Additional links -> Legacy OnPrem Support Portal -> Download Redwood Server Software
  2. Download the following file:
  3. redwood-platform.zip.

Login credentials are required to access the website.

Extract redwood-platform.zip

  1. Extract the redwood-platform.zip to an install directory. For example:

UNIX:

/opt/redwood/platform

Windows:

C:\Program Files\Redwood\Platform
