Introduction to the Help System

Welcome to the Redwood Server Help guides.

This Help system is organised in several separate categories to help you find what you need more easily.

When you are using Redwood Server and need information on a specific screen, use the F1 key on your keyboard to display context-sensitive help on that subject.

Navigation

You use the left-hand side pane to navigate through relating topics, the navigation pane on the right displays the sections in the current topic. Buttons on top-left and top-right allow you to navigate to the previous and following topics, the same buttons are displayed above the footer of the page.

The following icon allows you to

  • - allows you to collapse the navigation panes
  • - allows you to restore the navigation panes

Typographical Conventions

  • Field names in the user interface are referred to in italics.
  • Navigation paths are referred to in italics, steps are separated by >, for example, Monitoring > Definitions means expand the group Monitoring in the navigation bar and choose Definitions.
  • Values to enter manually or values on screen are referred to in monospaced font, when you have a list of values to choose from, then the different values are displayed in italics.
  • Keyboard keys are referred to in monospaced font.
  • A topic that has a image in front of its title is for cloud environments, only.
  • A topic that has a image in front of its title is for on-site environments, only.
  • A topic that has a image in front of its title is for Finance Automation, only.
  • A topic that has a image in front of its title is for on-site Finance Automation, only.
  • SAP transaction names are referred to in bold or strong font.
