Preparations
The following activities must be carried out on the SAP BW system to prepare for content activation.
Prepare Client for BW Activities
Use SPRO to perform the activities defined in the path SAP NetWeaver -> Business Intelligence -> General BI Settings. The BI Administration Cockpit is a helpful tool and should be installed (requires Portal).
For connecting another system/client, use transaction SBIW.

Assign Role SAP_BW_BI_ADMINISTRATOR to users.
