finance-related topic Initialization for FCc Process List

For general FCc configuration steps, please consult the current SAP documentation for FCc. You may go to the SAP Help portal under SAP FCc Add-On and find the relevant documentation there.

To synchronize all the SAP information sources at the beginning of the process list, a process needs to be inserted. It is not required to make the functional processes dependent on it. FCA ensures that this happens automatically.

The initialization process in Redwood Finance Automation is controlled by the following entry in Application Customizing:

EntryDefault ValueMeaning
FCc_BW_PC_AttributesFCC_MD_PART1Defines the BW Chain that loads the FCc Attributes.
FCc_BW_PC_HierarchyFCC_HIERARCHYDefines the BW Chain that loads the FCc Hierarchy.
FCc_BW_PC_HierarchyTGFCC_HIERARCHY_TGDefines the BW Chain that loads the FCc Task Group Hierarchy.
FCc_BW_PC_TextsFCC_MD_PART2,FCC_MD_PART3, FCC_MD_PART4Defines a list with BW Chains that load the FCc Texts.
FCc_BW_RestartableADefines the Restartability option for the processing of the FCc BW Chains.
FCc_BW_SAP_Client

Defines the BW System Client to be used for FCc BW Reporting. If this parameter is not defined, then BW is not initialized by Redwood Finance Automation.
FCc_BW_SAP_System

Defines the BW System to be used for FCc BW Reporting. If this parameter is not defined, then BW is not initialized by Redwood Finance Automation.

Synchronize Organizational Structures for target SAP systems

You synchronize SAP parameter tables and process list details using process definitions; the data is stored in separate Redwood Finance Automation tables. The following table lists the Redwood Finance Automation table, the SAP table, and the process used to synchronize the data:

TableSAP TableProcess DefinitionDescription
FCA_FCc_DefaultParameters/JCS/FCC_DEFPARMFCA_FCc_DefaultParameters_SynchronizeSynchronize parameters for BURKS, KOKRS, and WERKS
FCA_FCc_TaskListDetails

FCA_FCc_TaskList_Details_SynchronizeSynchronize process list details to the Redwood Finance Automation table, missing values will be looked up in the FCA_FCc_Default_Parameters table
FCA_FCc_DefaultParametersBySystem/JCS/FI_DEFPARMFCA_FCc_DefaultParametersBySystem_SynchronizeSynchronize parameters for BURKS, KOKRS, and WERKS
