Using Submit Frames in Processes

Submit frames are used to automatically resubmit processes. There are several ways to attach submit frames to processes:

  • Define the submit frame at submit time
  • Edit the process in the processes monitor
note

To edit a process, the process must not have reached he Queued status, Scheduled for example.

Procedure

To define the submit frame at submit time:

  1. Choose "Definitions > Chains".
  2. From the context-menu of a chain definition, choose Submit.
  3. Fill in appropriate values for parameters if applicable and choose Time and Dates.
  4. Choose advanced and enter a submit frame.
  5. Choose Scheduling.
  6. Choose an appropriate queue.
  7. Choose Submit.

To edit the process in the processes monitor

  1. Choose "Monitoring > Processes".
  2. From the context-menu of a chain definition, choose Edit.
  3. Choose Time and Dates.
  4. Choose advanced and enter a submit frame.
  5. Choose Submit.
