Submitting Processes and Chains
When a user requests a process definition to be executed, the central Redwood Server will schedule the process for execution on a process server. A request for execution is also called "submitting". Before the execution request is passed on to the process server, the user may:
- Change Date/time and recurrence data
- Change scheduling behavior parameter values.
- Enter the parameter values.
Once a request has been submitted, the process can be created by the central Redwood Server. By default, a scheduled process will be executed according to the start date and time, and provided a scheduler is up and running. Processes can also be scheduled directly on hold, this process will require human intervention before it will start.

When you pre-submit more than 100 processes, you will get a warning.

You cannot pre-submit more than 5000 processes, as this can have serious consequences in terms of performance.
