finance-related topic Integrating into Solution Manager

SAP Solution Manager (also known as SolMan) is a free component with SAP NetWeaver. You can schedule processes in Redwood Server from within Solution Manager via the SAP Applications API. Before you can schedule processes, you need to set up the RFC server in Redwood Server and create a RFC destination pointing to Redwood Server, this is outlined in the Starting the Redwood Server RFC Server section of the documentation. The Solution Manager integration allows seamless change management, which is built into SAP Solution Manager and enriches it with the functionality of Redwood Server; running processes anywhere across your data center across platforms. Redwood Server sends the status information of the process back to SAP Solution Manager and integrates into its scenarios.

For more information on SAP Solution Manager integration, see Editing Monitors and Monitor Sets.
