Privileges Required to use Visualization Alerts

To use Visualization Alerts, you need one of the following:

  • scheduler-administrator or redwood-administrator role
  • system or partition-level permissions
  • object-specific privileges

Using Visualization Alerts

The following privilege ranks are available on Visualization Alerts:

  • Create - allows you to create a Visualization Alert on the level the privilege was granted (system, partition), you have no further privileges through this rank, you automatically get All privilege rank on Visualization Alerts you create.
  • View - allows you to view a Visualization Alert on the level the privilege was granted (system, partition), you have no further privileges through this rank.
  • Edit - allows you to create, view, and edit a Visualization Alert on the level the privilege was granted (system, partition).
  • Delete - allows you to create, view, and delete a Visualization Alert on the level the privilege was granted (system, partition).
  • All - full control over a Visualization Alert on the level the privilege was granted (system, partition).

You always need View privileges on the partition of the Visualization Alert.

Visualization Alerts can reference the following object, you need at least View privileges on this object as well as its partition when you want to create/edit/delete a Visualization Alert that references it:

  • Application.

Creating Visualization Alerts

You need one of the following privilege ranks to be able to create Visualization Alerts:

  • Create - allows you to create Visualization Alerts on the level the privilege was granted (system, partition), you have no further privileges through this rank, you automatically get All privilege rank on Visualization Alerts you create.
  • Edit - allows you to create, view, and edit all Visualization Alerts on the level the privilege was granted (system, partition).
  • Delete - allows you to create, view, and delete all Visualization Alerts on the level the privilege was granted (system, partition).
  • All - full control over all Visualization Alerts on the level the privilege was granted (system, partition).

Editing Visualization Alerts

To successfully edit a Visualization Alert, you must have one the following privileges:

  • Edit - privilege rank on the Visualization Alert, or on Visualization Alert in its partition or system-wide
  • Delete - privilege rank on the Visualization Alert, or on Visualization Alert in its partition or system-wide
  • All - privilege rank on the Visualization Alert, or on Visualization Alert in its partition or system-wide
